Taur Mittran Di is a campus based story of 2 boys set in Khalsa College, Amritsar. The two boys played by Rannvijay Singha and Amrinder Gill have a rivalry in the college as both of them want to have an upper hand over the other in the college. Rannvijay is already in the college and has an authoritative position; Amrinder is new to the college and challenges the authority of Rannvijay. They both have girl friends who are real sisters played by Amita Pathak and Surveen Chawla. Their altercations make up the first half of the film. In the second half both the boys get an all-important mission i.e. to get a piece of land owned by an ex-Olympian character played by Mukesh Rishi. In the process both the boys get attached to Mukesh Rishi. In a turn of events Mukesh’s character gets killed by the land mafia, and the two boys get transformed and decide to save the land owned by Mukesh. They start a movement in the colleges and universities and take on the system.
