No Picnic Showtimes and Tickets

Macabee Cohen's heyday as a rock musician is past history. Now his gig is to supply records to NYC jukeboxes and collect money for his boss. Mac's beloved neighborhood, Manhattan's lower east side, is in turmoil: tenants on rent strike, buildings vanishing, real estate speculators moving in and new faces spreading like the plague. Mac's own life is in turmoil too. His girlfriend has left to join the Air Force, his neighbor wants to marry him to obtain a green card, his brother travels about the country on a sexual sojourn, sending only postcards, and his father has left his mother for a younger man. It didn't look to be a great summer.
