The film is the movie version of an award winning short film with the same name. The story ‘Kadhalil Sodhappuvathu Eppadi’ is simple. How you succeed in love with the experiences of those ‘Sodhappals’ is the crux. It is the monologue of character Arun (Siddharth) telling how his love relationship, which starts with casual meeting and develops beautifully, with Parvathy (Amala Paul) went off-track because of those ‘Sodhappals’ (mistakes due to misunderstanding) he made. Whether the broken love relationship of these Engineering College students, Arun and Parvathy, is patched up and the lovers join hands again as lovers is told in the end. The failing marriage of Parvathy’s parents who are divorcing, Arun’s friend Cathy (S S Music Pooja) love triangle and the classmate ‘Anna’ love affair are told interestingly.
