Synopsis...
The rags-to-riches story of Chinese ballet dancer Li Cunxin who, at age 11, was chosen to train at Madam Mao's Beijing Dance Academy. In 1981, he defected from China. He went on to perform as a principal dancer for the Houston Ballet and then as a principal artist with the Australian Ballet, gaining a reputation as one of the world's greatest dancers.
