This place is poorly run. Takes forever to buy tickets and popcorn. Took my kids to see Spy Kids 4. The movie has a scratch and sniff gimmick that I didn't know about. Buying tickets didn't clue me in since they didn't give us the cards. Several people in the audience seemed to have them. I talked go an usher who said she get us some. She left and didn't come back. Movies are too expensive to waste money at this theatre. There are also plenty of options out there. This place has lost my business.
No! you need to call your credit card company and dispute the charges. The credit card company will immediately put those charges aside so you will not be expected to pay it until they can go through the process of doing a charge back.
The Manager is either stupid or he lied to you so he could keep your money in the bank and get 3 more opportunities to sell you overpriced candy.
But then again all these comments are probably bogus, nothing more than one theater manager dissing another theater in order to get more customers to help stay afloat in these difficult times theaters are experiencing.
My daughter and I bought tickets to see a 3D film. The cashier mistakenly gave us the non 3D tickets. I gave her my credit card back to make the exchange. After, everything seemed a-ok, and she gave me my credit card back. But as I was about to walk away, she said she had forgotten to credit me, and needed my card back. I gave it to her a third time, and she did her thing. Then we went inside to see the movie, but the ticket taker said we didn't have valid tickets. Quite irritated by this time, I asked to speak to a manager. When the manager came, I explained the issue. He asked for my credit card and said he would go into the box office to check that I had paid for the tickets. When he returned, he said there was NO RECORD of any purchase on my card, so he took the liberty of charging me (again). He assured me that if I found extra charges, I could return to correct that, but to make sure and wait a week to make sure all the charges were accounted for.
Lo and behold, I was charged 4 times. I returned a week later, as instructed, and I was told that because I waited so long, they could not refund me. I walked away with a few free movie passes.
Now I HAVE to return to Northwoods just to get my money back by using those passes. As soon as they are used, however, I will not return.
Last time I checked theaters were in business to put paying butts in seat. Why show something few people want to pay to see? They show a lot of bad movies as long as enough people will pay to see. This is a business not a social card. You people play the race card to market the movie then complain when most people don't want to see a black movie. If you want to see this movie go to Niggtown.
Never had a bad time here. Every thing has always been smooth and pleasant! The food is good, the screens are crisp and their grounds are clean. Love it here!
A great theater, well-run, clean, and reasonably priced.

ATTENTION REGAL MANAGEMENT: you are losing customers! I don't know how many times we have decided to go to the nearby Santikos Embassy INSTEAD of Regal Northwoods for no other reason than that we were able to look in the paper and get the Ebassy's show times.
