Quiet movie experience after 8? You musta meant 8am? North Hills is a great place to go as long as its before 7pm. After that the teens that attend this movie complex take over and by 10pm thats mostly who is there. They are not supervised, rude, pushy, talk n text during movies, etc. Ive even been threatened when I asked one to per away their phone during a movie. Management needs to do a better job of policing the teens. At least they could tell them to put away their phones and actually look into in once in awhile. Ya cant miss the glow lighting up 3 seats in any direction. I will not attend anymore movies at North Hills due to the constant problem of out of control, obnoxious, disrespectful teenagers and lack of management to improve it. -
The HOURS of the movie theater are a mystery. Why?!
The prices are outrageous, starting with the charging of the 3-d-glasses. -
Yall complaining about the 3D price but little do you know its not the theater who come up with that additional 3.50 i work at the movie theater in durham and that is a set price that is set by the company for ALL 3D MOVIES.... and yes the glasses are asked to be recycled but you are allowed to keep them so you cant fault the theater for that

We love Regal North Hills 14! If you are over 18 and want to have a nice quiet movie experience go see a movie that starts after 8:00. It is less likely to have as many teens attending. The teens are out of control especially at the neighboring Chick-fil-A but Firebirds is a nice restaurant to go to before a 9 o'clock movie. Also if you love to see movies make sure you sign up and get a regal crown club card. You will rack up so many points when you see a movie on its debut weekend and when you buy concessions. Also every monday is $1 candy and every tuesday is $1 popcorn with the card. I have gotten free movie tickets, free drinks and free popcorn using my card and it is free to sign up to get one. If you are a college student try to pick a week night to see a movie because you can use your student discount which does not work on Friday or Saturday nights. -
WOW!!!! you one star raters are out the roof. . management cant do alot about the teens and you cant change the teenagers or the parents. your only going to see them once for maybe 5 minutes to 2 hours. besides thats not what the theater is about. they are about good service....which they have, good movie quality.....which they have, and nice willing hardworking staff.....again which they have. so if you dont want to go back thats fine, they get enough business anyway. but i tell you i will continue to go there as long as i live here -
I personally love this theatre. Some things can get annoying like some loud and rude people, but whats funny is it isn't always the teenagers. I'm 14, which makes me a teenager, but I don't talk through the movie, since I'm kind of going there to, well, watch a movie. It is a little crowded if you were to go on a Friday night or Saturday, but its not too bad. I'd say the biggest issue would have to be the overpriced condiments. Even if I normally don't pay for it since I'm a kid, I know how expensive it is. Other that, I love this theatre and plan on going again in the future.

Theater is clean and polite workers. It is odd at the front box there is usually only one worker selling tickets even if the line is out the door. Bathroom clean but suprisingly the sinks etc...are kind of basic. Never had a problem with the teenagers being loud. Patrons usually quiet and watch movie. Refreshments incredibly expensive. Never see 3-D movies anyway. Overall like this theater but they need more workers at the box and cheaper refreshments. -
i say you do not want to go to this theater it is filled with rude teenagers and they are not clean the lines to get food take forever and the food is way over priced a large drink with no refills is almost 6 dollars the $1.50 theater is way better and a great money saver

The North Hills complex is a wonderful venue, with outstanding concessions and 14 theaters to choose from. However, the teens that attend this complex are not supervised, and are extremely discourteous during the movies. They talk to each other, and are constantly text messaging on their cell phones. When they are seated in front of you, the bright light from their cell phones are very annoying and disturbing. Management needs to do a better job of policing the teens. I will not attend anymore movies at this complex due to the constant problem of discourteous teenagers. -
Absolutely ridiculous that this theater would charge an additional $3.50 for a 3D movie. Paid it for my child to see the movie and then the staff had the gall to ask for 3d glasses back to be recycled. Needless to say we took ours because we purchased them at $3.50. I had brought in 3D glasses and they could not be used you had to pay the additional money. Next time we go to IMAX, better theater better experience. They should be ashamed.
