I love the Prytania Theater, and the special movie presentations! Best movie house in Louisiana! -
Still the best place to see a movie in New Orleans. No pretense, no 20 minute barrage of television commercials before, and the most polite, respectful, and intelligent audience in the 504.

Although I do prefer the more progressive programming from decades back, I do enjoy what they show there and love the classics and midnight movies, too. -
Absolutely love this theather. They have a great sound system and you actually feel the movie. I watched Star Trek here and at Elmwood and Prytania was better.
