First I would like to say that the person who made the comment about "not liking blacks either",, is a racist you know what...unbelievable. We still have idiots walking around like this??? We are supposed to be speaking about a specific theatre and once again people are making it about race. PLEASE STOP!!! I don't believe that the statement was made that the black people speak through the movies. Is it me or doesn't everyone speak periodically through a film??The people that make racist comments think that they are the only people on earth and that they own something. Don't go if you have to complain so much...oh I forgot you are at the cheap movies so you can't have much.....lol -
Wow. I have never ever in my life read such horrible racist remarks about anyone that goes to a movie theater in my life. Anyone who is writing these remarks should be ashamed of themselves. God made everything all humans everything we know how dare you judge anyone on the color of their skin. You discust me and if you dont like the theater well duh dont go. We are all different nobody is the same get over it sit in your little bubble and rot . But remember there will come a day you WILL be judged have fun with that day. -
Great deal! But a smart tip: Whatever you do, do not walk into your theater number when the lights are on and the staff are cleaning it. Wait for them to finish and walk in when the lights are down and it's dark. Trust me, it will make for a much more pleasurable theater experience. Some of you know what I'm talking about here. =) -
A great theater for a great price. My kids and I go regularly. Its not "filthy" its not sc**hole filled with the "dredges of society" as many people like to say.
Quality for older movies.
Terrific people working there.
Now if all of you could lay off the bullcrap racism and finger pointing, it would be nice for people to come here to read real reviews on a real theater.

Hey, I don't like the blacks either, but they behave themselves for the most part. Except for the occassional outburst, and the constant talking, which they can't help anyways...its not so bad -
I Like Movieland for value. You just choose smart times and movies to see there. -

People like Joe is the reason the GOP can't get anything done in congress, cuz the Klan has finally infiltrated into the political agenda, people who feel that pple should stay with their own doesn't make you sterile and doesn't make that idealogy any less abrasive than and outright racist! Since when you (Joe) ever thought that white people are perfect and don't have any social & societal misbehavior or condemmation! I can run down an laundry list of white pple misbehavior just recently not to mention historically, however I'll decline that action cuz you'll have reality nightmares for life!! Public and societal misbehavior in found in all class of race thats why theres laws to regulate people and consequences for those whom choose to violate. In closing I say to you sir, instead of cowarding in front of your computer in a fetal position, address the wrong that you encounter and maybe, just maybe you'll discover that the person inside you really isn't all that bad afterall..Goodluck!!

Ok, 1st of this page is supposed to be your opinion of the theater, not bashing people for bad grammar, or hating on African Americans. I have 4 beautiful mixed grand kids who are being brought up as best they can by there parents, and grandparents, to be educated, loving, respectful, courteous, responsible, and all those other adjectives that hopefully make any human being a decent human being regardless of skin color. I myself am a 44 year old white male, married to a 49 year white female, she is half Irish, and English. Myself I am half Swedish, quarter Scottish, quarter English, and the rest is a mix of American Indian, and god knows what else. Other than some genetic trait difference due to the regions of origins since the biblical days we are all the same inside. Our manners, ideals, and other type behavioral traits are based on where we grew up, and how our parents behaved around us, as well of course our peers such as school. I did not grow up in this region I grew up in fact in two main areas, Ashville, NY outside Jamestown, and Allegany, NY near Olean. So fortunately I did not have to endeavor the horrific years that I have seen, and heard about going to a inner city school in Buffalo, thank God. Yes, I have witnessed some African Americans get a little loud in a theater, but I have also witnessed the same from some old whites as well at that theater, there was this old couple that just talked through the whole damned thing really was starting to piss me off, but what can you do. Usually I have found the most effective way to deal is to simply glare at them, whom ever they may be until the notice you and decide to shut up. Teens have been brought up in today's society to be rude, self absorbed, and just simply brain dead, regardless of skin color. I have never to this day since that theater opened it's doors heard of any really issue of violence, theft, abuse, or any of that type there. On the other hand the Regal Theaters deem it necessary to have a full on Police influence at all there theaters on Friday, and Saturday evenings, hmmm! Now to get back to the true reason for this comment page, Movieland 8 is not a bad theater, it's cheap to a degree, they do sweep out the theaters after every movie showing, the employees do in fact seem respectful and pleasant, so let's just drop the hate crap, the stupid grammar bashing and keep the reviews to what there suppose to be thank you.

You get a popcorn, pop and your ticket for $6. Its clean and cheap. I havent had any problems with it yet. so for everyone who is crying how its not clean or there is someone you dont like there. Well you dont have to go. Just wait for the movie to come out on dvd and watch it at home. Come on guys its cheap and you get your snacks. Just a tip, if you want to avoid annoying kids then go to the earlist show possbile and then you will be with all the old people and they are nice and quiet. Its a great place to go, cheap and i dont have to pays for my snacks.
