User reviews on Marquee Cinemas - Wakefield 12
The Senior ticket prices are way too high and especially for the earlier movie times. Also, it is obvious management does not read these comments or they are too damn dumb to understand what people are posting or BOTH.
Sloppy attention to detail, 2 consecutive Sundays with no air conditioning, arrived 20 minutes prior to movie start time to a dark theater, difficult to find seats, today someone had to go and complain to get the movie started. They need a management review and then replace whoever is running the place. We will not be returning.
Generally clean venue with an accommodating staff. Unfortunately, the auditoriums are small and cramped. If you don't mind cramped seating and tight spaces this may be the place for you.
A very impressive venue. The staff is always courteous and accommodating. There is no doubt that there is an emphasis on maintenance/housekeeping, as the condition belies the age of the building. I have seen over ten films here and have yet to experience anything negative. Theatre #7 is especially impressive. The dialog is intelligible, even during very dynamic passages. Surround effects are immersive and low frequency is generally in balance. I know of only one other venue that I would rate more highly, and that is the Stag Theatre at Skywalker Ranch.
We always have a great time here. My kids and I have no problems. The free summer movies are awesome.
I was raped at this theater multiple times while eating nachos. The nachos were very good though
I love this theater. It is always clean, the lines are never too long, and the people are very friendly. The free summer movies for the kids are a bonus. Thank you, Sandi
