I'm glad they didn't let the 6 month old in. Just saying ... I'm tired of wasting money only to have a good movie ruined by crying babies or brats kicking my seat. If I wanted to deal with kids, id go to a kids movie! -
On behalf of most adults that pay full price for a movie ticket, you shouldn't be able to bring in your baby to an R rated movie. I appreciate the manager for sticking up for the other patrons. I'm sure he used the rating as a nice way to tell you that it's rude to assume that the rest of the patrons would be okay with it. If your baby cries and disturbs my viewing experience, are you going to refund me a portion of the ticket price? And everyone else? I recently went to see "Bad Teacher" and there was a 2 year old & a 5 year old there. It was ridiculous to have them there and it was very disruptive. I appreciate the fact that the manager stuck to the rule. If you do not have a sitter to go to the movies, than do what the rest of us do...DON'T GO! Rent a DVD or get Netfixs and stay home...If you can't afford to pay a sitter, which is a for sure way to find a sitter, then you shouldn't go to the movies either...I have always been treated fair and courteously at 20 Grand and now I know, the management will do their due diligence in respecting the price I pay for my ticket. -
I was denied entry to the movie "Horrible Bosses" tonight because my girlfriend and I had our 6-month-old son with us. The manager told us that no one under the age of 6 years old is allowed into R rated movies. I understand the concept of this rule, but he is only 6 months old. He is unable to comprehend what is going on in the movie. My girlfriend and I feel that we are being punished because we were unable to find a babysitter tonight. I believe that we should be compensated for the inconvenience of driving to the movie theater and then being denied access to the movie and sent right back home.
