We appreciate indies being shown in our town, but Lyric feels like what a highschooler would set up in mom's basement. A bit charming, when you get past the rag-tag seating that isn't raised, the scratchy prints and slow-to-repsond tech errors, the stuffy HVAC and potential of mold and fleas in the old overstuffed furniture. But hey, the menu is fun (do I trust the dishwasher?). The town needs an alternate and Lyric is a placeholder. Predicting (hoping?) in better econ times it will be eclipsed. Call me "old", but for full-fare price, I like cup holders, screenings without glitches, and circulating air. Be in a hippie mood to go... -
