The theatre is not as bad as everyone is saying...well at least not from my experiences there.I can say for those of you who get intimidated by seeing too many black faces at one time this is not the place for you.It is located in a predominately black neighborhood so you are going to see a lot of black people.Other races kill me comin into our communities and venues and then call us ghetto..DEFINE GHETTO..? I frequently go out and mingle with all different nationalities and see some of the same behavior described in these reviews,sometimes worst so just to clarify things being GHETTO is a form of classless behavoir and has nothing to do with race.As far as people talkin in during the movie i did not experience that onmy visits there.Yes do do check your bags but me personally I don't have a problem with that.Just knowing that crazy people are everywhere and you don't kno when someone could act crazy it actually makes me feel more safe. -
GO @ OWN RISK.. IS WHAT I CAN TELL YOU ....I THINK IT'S AN OK THEATER . IT'S THE PEOPLE THAT BRING THE PLACE DOWN . THERE'S ALL WAYS SOMETHING THERE, BABY CRYING, KIDS NOT LISTING TO THERE PARENTS,SMOKING/DRINKING, BOOTLEGING. I MEAN IF YOU KNEW BETTER I'M HOPEING YOU WOULD DO BETTER.

it isnot the nicest place to go on a date with. The prices are some how on the high side. the employees are rude and unprofessional (ghetto). The restrooms and the butter stand for the popcorn are not kept clean. There are too many teenagers at night and loud too. If you want to enjoy a movie go else where or go there at your own risk.

.this theater is ghetto but its not THAT bad. when i go there i dont get bothered buy loud kids cuz im rite there with them. if somethin is funny in a movie ima laugh && tlk about it. i mean like just because grownups be borein && on dates n s***t dnt mean that we loud && ghetto yhu kno. butt anywayss prices are crazy ! llike 7 dollars is ridiculouss. FOR REAL. butt the food is good but jus high pricedd. now they have bigger icee cups for junior size && thats guddd. also the security is weak as hell. like me && my sister tried to see if when someone comes out the exit door if we cud come in thru that door && jus walk to a movie. YHU CAN. nobodies watchinn. its funny. but yeah thats all. :)

They search your purse when you go in a movie, that ought to tell you something about the theatre, the moviegoers, what your experience will be.
They should improve security, put people in every theatre for the rowdy kids, been friendly to the clients, and make the theatre and expectations classier. -
The most ghetto-fied theater in all of Chicago. I didn't even know poor black folks still went to the show. It seems like something as old-fashioned as a multi-plex in an inner city neighborhood would be a finacial waste of an investment, especially with the mass quantity of bootleg peddlers that roams the streets of the ghetto. And half of the audience would've seen the movie at home already, and be narrating the plot and dialogue as the movie plays (don't cha' just hate that?) Well, when this place closes up (one day) all those droves bebe kids and their ghetto-fied (cellphonetalkingwhilethemovieisplaying) parents will start migrating to the downtown theaters out out to river oaks. I think they all deserve the scary movie treatment (assuming that all you readers know which part of the first scary movie I'm talking about. -
I forgot to add that their ghetto-ass, top-flight security team ain't no better. I guess management is aware of how ghetto and unruly most of their patrons are. But fighting ignorance with ignorance isn't always the solution.

kids too loud and the prices are ridiculous for snacks and i would never go back to this theater again until the prices drop and the noise is controlled,you pay all this money to go to a show and you cant even hear it,and thats one of the reasons i look at the bootleg movies and rarely go to the theater -
This movie theater is big and I love coming here to see movies. The only problem is that alot of kids under the age of 17 are allowed at night and they have no respect for others that want to watch the movie. They are loud, rude and don\'t care about the other people that paid their money and can\'t even watch the movie in peace. I have come to a point where I rather go somewhere else then deal with the nonsense.
