  I just recently revisited the HiPointe theater (which I inhabited as a regular during the 50's throughout the 60's, and found it to be virtually unchanged. (updated, of course throughout the years)The ambiance is wonderful, and the employees/owners see to it that you want for nothing. You can't go anywhere and enjoy a movie, popcorn and soda for less than $10. A wonderful family place, and a great date destination as well. In this time of horrendous economic turndown, it is a welcome respite! After 5 and noon on Saturdays, you can park across the street at Lindell Trust. At least I think you still can. I can walk there, lucky me!

  I love the Hi-Pointe. My first time to visit the theater this afternoon. Takes me back in time. Love the friendly and nostalgic atmosphere. My new favorite movie spot in St. Louis
