went to the theater 3 times in 4 months. second time a fist fight broke out behind us because soldier was drunk. ok. no big deal. 3rd time a liberty county sherriff deputy came in and yelled at me. he said if i have to tell you to be quiet again, you are coming with me. did he tell me the first time? no. was i talkin? no. it was the people 2 rows back. apparently the deputy didnt see us come in late and sit down in the first row. he just went straight to us and yelled. my advice? buy the sherriff a pair of night vision goggles or a flashlight so we dont all look alike in the dark. was i annoyed? very. i'd like to go to the theater and not be hassled by presumptuos sherriff's deputy. did he ruin my movie? yes. i truly was annoyed by police harrassment. if those people behind made noise again, i would have been dragged out of the movie theater. you know how it is now adays? beat them now, ask questions later. my advice? drive 40 mins in any direction (savannah or jesup) and have a nice movie experience free from police harrassment.

My husband is Active Duty Army and we have been stationed at Ft. Stewart, GA. The small town of Hinesville only has 1 theatre. And I am pretty skeptical about small town theatres, but I decided to go to this theatre with an open-mind. Give it a shot! It was the most disappointing experience in my recent memory. I have my 2 small grandchildren with me, and when we walk up to the ticket box, there is a sign that says "CASH ONLY - ATM IS DOWN" so we have to go back and buckle kids up and drive to an ATM for cash. (still trying to keep an open mind..) So we go back to the theatre and pay our $18 to get in. We go to the concession stand, even though our movie is set to start in 5 minutes. (since we had to go to the bank for cash) There is only one girl working the concession stand, there are about 7 people in front of us, AND SHE'S ON HER CELL PHONE WHILE SHE'S TAKING ORDERS! Once we get up there, I order a large coke and med popcorn, "WE'RE OUT OF LARGE CUPS, BUT I'LL GIVE YOU A MED CUP AND YOU CAN HAVE FREE REFILLS"..fine. .we pay another $18 for our popcorn and sodas. We walk to the theatre and it feels like a sauna! It's actually HOT in the theatre! So I'm still trying to keep an open mind!! I get the grandkids situated and when I try my soda...It's flat!!" I go back up to the concession stand and ask for another soda, "ALL THE SODA IS FLAT, WE'RE OUT OF CARBONATION" ...but you're still selling it that way??? Fine... give me my money back and I'll buy a Coke from the vending machine. "I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO REFUNDS..I'LL CALL MY MANAGER" Then it just gets worse, they refund my money but refuse to give me a cup with ice for my vending machine soda because they gave me a refund, they have to confiscate my cup. In place of my regular cup, they give me a cup of ice the size of a dixie cup. The Manager looked like she just got done smoking a joint and was practically unresponsive until I started raising my voice. All she said was "THERE ISN'T ANYTHING I CAN DO FOR YOU!" No apology, no concern, no consideration, no professionalism . She looked like she was about 15 years old and she definetly acted like it. Rolling her eyes and giving me that "WHATEVER!" LOOK. Needless to say, I went to get my grandchildren and took all of our sodas and popcorn back for a full refund. (Which still took them another 15 minutes to do, since the manager never came to show them how to do it in the first place.) Then I went to the box office for a full refund as well. I wish I could have chosen zero stars, but I had to give it one because this website requires it.
If you must go to a theatre to see a movie, it's worth it to just go ahead and drive to Savannah!
