User reviews on Galleria 6 Cinemas
Galleria 6 Cinemas has 1 large screen & 5 smaller ones of varying sizes - showing first run movies.
The staff are generally friendly & try to keep the place clean (which is sometimes a challenge because of some of the Galleria Mall cliental).
WEDNESDAYS are $5 shows all day.
I see 4 to 7 movies a month. FOR MY MONEY:
If you want classy - go to the Chase Cinema.
If you want the biggest screen in town - go to the Moolah Theatre.
If you want a simple, clean theatre with great popcorn & current movies (and you don't mind the Mall crowd)-Galleria 6 is a good place to be.
CAVEAT: It's not a place to hang out or wait for the next show because it's a mall theatre. If you happen to find it less than spotlessly clean - remember, it's in a busy mall (that's not in West County).
I LOVE THIS PLACE! If you are looking for a place that is packed with people and is a teen hangout/hookup spot, stay away. If you are a person who just wants to go see a movie at a decent price, then you will LOVE it. Concessions are FRESH! Employees are VERY NICE! It is just so refreshing to re-live why people started flocking to the movies decades ago. It was not ot party. It was not to be seen. The movie house was aplace where you could get away from the world for a few hours, eat some snacks and get LOST in the FILM without other people talking and bothering you. Galleria 6 recaptures that!
Some people b@#$ about anything and everything. The theatre is small and out of the way really and surprise, that is why you can get a price break and not have to wait in line. The dollar feel maybe, but so what go see a movie and quit b@#$in.
Galleria is a former AMC theatre consisting of several small venues located on the Food Court level in the Galleria Mall. It is locally owned now and offers a cost conscious reprieve from the new national chain prices. Snacks and beverages are always fresh. There is a waiting area near the snack bar. The facilities are as clean as other theatres and they offer mints on the way out.
personally i have bin to that theater many times it is not one for a major d*** "critic" like u so just wait for it to come out on dvd and stick it up ur ass the galleria movie theater is normally used for first dates for teenagers to reaterate stop being a prick.
This is one of the worst theaters I\'ve been to. The whole place is very small, so each theater is very small, and there is almost nowhere to wait within the theater if you happen to arrive before the previous showing lets out. Which happens a lot, because they cram movies back to back. It has also been very dirty and sticky every time I\'ve been here. It definitely has a \"dollar show\" feel to the whole place.
