convenient location for t-county people but memphis theaters are worth the drive. over priced. the paradiso is $10 a seat cause its a really nice theater. i usually dont go here unless im on a time schedule. when i was about 8 months pregnant, my husband and i went to like the 9pm showing of "my bloody valentine" and it was so crowded, people had no seats and were being told to sit on the stair way. they were bringing in plastic folding chairs for SOME but LOTS of people were sitting on the floor and tickets were not bein refunded. luckily since i was pregnant, somebody gave me their seat but i didnt even get to sit by my husband. ever since then i dont go there. its horrible. cheap, rude owners. sound is NEVER loud enough to hear like normal theaters do. if i wanna good theater experience and to save money, i drive to malco on stage and see the twlight showings, between 4pm - 6pm for $5/seat.

People who talk about the workers being terrible or awful have absolutely no idea. The workers aren't perfect human beings possible of standing an entire night of people whining over stuff that generally isn't there fault. It's hot? so that means that the air is out the workers can't fix that it is the owners responsibility but the cashier or ticket tearer get yelled at. The prices arne't any different than the ones in memphis! I just saw a movie at the paradiso and it cost 50 cents more than it would have at Cineplanet. You can't get on here and leave a review about what the employees can or can't or didn't do you dont even know if thats within their capacity to fix, and believe me the management aren't scared of anyone when they go to a theater. If you are going to whine go somewhere else the employess do their best and way too many people come the this theater for the other people to threaten us losing customers. Especially when so many people say they won't return and the next weekend they are back complaining. It's a fine establishment.

I have been going to this theater since it first opened and overall I am pleased. There have been times when it was warm inside, times when sound quality was not up to par, seen cases of seemingly "bored" employees, but I have never encountered anyone who was overly rude or treated me with any disrespect as a customer.
Lots of kids - YES, but they are generally in the lobby or game-room and that is not where I personally hang out. I go to see a movie. Seating is comfortable and I like the tiered seating in all the separate theaters.
I guess the biggest drawback is the price. They are higher in price than any of the other movie theaters in the Memphis area, but I live 1/2 mile from the site and it certainly is a blessing for me to not have to drive 30 miles, use an extra 1-1/2 hours of my time, and saving the money I would have spent on gas to visit any other venues is worth the minor inconveniences of higher prices and supposedly "rowdy" attitude of the kids.
I actually like going to this theater and I go there for the movies. I don't worry about crowded lobbies, teenagers loitering, employees who are allegedly rude ( never met one ), and inflated prices. If you go there to worry about these other things, I agree with many who post here - just don't go. If you live in the area and want to save time for having a locally convenient theater that has the latest movies and don't mind spending a couple of extra dollars, by all means go to Cineplanet 16. -
This theater is over-priced both with tickets and snacks. Management doesn't do anything about the obnoxious children who constantly loiter, and several times I've had to experience a theater without A/C or with terrible sound/video quality.

This theater is convenient and clean. It provides quality films and good service. If you had a problem and were not able to resolve it, you might consider your own attitude. If you want to focus on the theater experience and not the quality of the films, you need to GET A LIFE!!!

This is my second time going to Cineplanet and I think it will be my last. The movie was great but the customer service was not good at all. The young lady in the ticket boothe was not friendly at all and the gentleman that took our tickets acted as if he did not want to be at work. I think it is great that we have a theatre in Tipton County but if the staff don't get it together you are going to lose some of your customers. You suppose to serve your customers with a smile so they will want to come back.

Cineplanet is horrible. One would think that they would take some of the profit from overcharging for the tickets and food and invest in a new central air system. This is the second Summer that I have gone to Cineplanet and sweat through a movie. We went to the 9 o'clock movie so you would have thought the building would have cooled down by then but no. One fourth of the people in my theatre complained to management about the heat. Management of course could care less. Then we have some really rude people that yelled at the movie screen the whole time so you couldn't hear the movie. Management came in several times and watched that group act crazy but would never say anything to the loud group of people. They just walked back out of the theatre. Personally I believe mgmt was scared to say anything to the people. Safe to say we will never return to Cineplanet as well as all the people sitting around us.

We saw Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince at the midnight opening.
It was a little warm, but comfortable. Bathroom was a little dirty. Kids were okay - but it was midnight! Lots of teens there but they settled down when the movie started.
Would rather go to this local theater than drive to Bartlett or the Malco in the Mall! Have never had a problem with the manager - maybe they've gotten a new one since all of these other reviews were posted. I hope the would have.
Tickets are high - right at $20 for 2 ppl. but it averages out as does the food. Get the large popcorn and coke - share with your date and re-fill often! -
Come on people! Sure you may have had a less-than-perfe ct experience at Cineplanet, but if you\'re anything like me, then you\'re just so grateful that you don\'t have to drive to Memphis that it\'s easy to overlook the negative and graciously embrace the fact that we have a theater in Tipton County!! Thank you for being just minutes away, Cineplanet!
