My husband and I live in Salisbury and we are very happy with our towns theater. It's always very clean and employees are very courteous. I would recommend bringing a sweater even if it is during the summer months, it can be very chilly inside. We always try and go to the matinees because you only have to pay $5.25 before 4pm and any show after that is full price. This theater also offers a great combo buy at the end of every year where you can by a reusable cup and tub for drink and popcorn and only pay $3.00 for refills all year long. I hope this review helps future patrons to Tinseltown in Salisbury, NC. -
,This our favorite movie theater. We travel about 45 min. to get there sometimes. The seating is good and I have always taken a lightweight jacket to a movie or on a plane. Never been uncomfortable at either. If you're a Senior Citizen, then this is for you. The prices are right and get the coupons online. We go at least twice a month and sometimes around the holidays we make a marathon day out of it and just refill our popcorn and drink. Employees are nice too. We recommend this theater to everyone. -
Love this theatre for years now. Family tradition to meet here for Christmas Day movie. Always, right temperature, friendly staff, clean lobby and restrooms. Throughout the year we average 2 movies a month here. Annually we visit 20- 24 times, and we are ALWAYS pleased with the temperature, staff and cleanliness. Prices are same as market price for the area. Love to make the earlybird matinee for $4.50. -
I find this theater very clean. It is never too cold for me. I sometimes wear a sweater, but you need the air to sit comfortably with people. I normally sit down lower, maybe that makes a difference. I try to go to matinees when the price is cheaper. I buy the $6.00 container of pop corn at the first of the year, you can bring it back and have it filled for $3.00. Plenty of popcorn. By signing up online, I often get a free coupon for a drink with a purchase of popcorn. -

love this theater... go atleast 12 times a year. We take our daycare there 3 times every summer. Cheaper than winston. A little chilly sometimes.

Went to see Hangover 2 early bird, got charged 7.25 on weekday on Thursday, got tickets for x men-new class 12:01am while i was there, the 1st movie the theater was Hot burning up , no air, went at 1201 am and they had it freezing, I suggest taking a blanket to the late night movies, the 1st movie we had to sit there smelling others sweat and body odor, then i asked when i left at the 12:01am what the temp was set on, they said 63 degrees, OMG, can you believe that? Coldest ever, take a blanket. The management must be hot natured but dont care about the customers and kids coming through there in the theater, It was awful experience -
