I have no idea what the dopey blond is talking about reference 'this is not a dollar theater.", etc. I would venture to guess as have others that she is employed by Red Box in some capacity.
Great location, safe environment and very clean. The price is right as well, I have never paid more than $2.00 for a ticket. Sound system is not 5.1 dolby surround but certainly more than adequate. -
I'm new to columbus and this is surly my theater of choice.I go every week and i always watch two movies cause its so cheap.I've never paid more than 2$ per movie of course...this place is cheap,CLEAN ENVIROMENT, and have a great frendly staff.I would recommend this theater to ANyBODY..!!

The theater is great, the sound is great and for the price you cannot beat it, the most we spend is 2.50. They have an arcade that my girls love to go to either before or after the movie. The employees are professional and polite. The only thing that can be compared to the Lenox, Easton or the Arena Grand is the price of the snacks because they are regular movie prices but with the deal on the tickets they need to make the money somewhere.

Been going here for over 10 years and have paid between 1.00 and 1.50, the idiot with the comment that the cost is about the same as lennox is nuts

Directed @ This is not a $1.00 theater, even though they say they are. It costs almost as much as Easton, Lennox or the Arena Grand. We got there and the ticket person told us the very high price we were going to leave. But, we thought maybe it would be worth it to see the movie on a nice big screen with a good sound system. But, when the movie started, it was basically projected on a bed sheet hung on the wall and the sound was through speakers smaller than my car's speakers! The picture was very dark and hard to see, the sound was weak. Skip this non-$1.00 theater and go to Red Box, which is really $1.00 plus you'll enjoy the picture and sound better on your TV at home!

This is our movie theater of choice. You cannot beat the price, at the most $2.25 for regular movies, for a 3D movie it may be a whopping $4. They offer great coupons for free refreshments, the seats are comfy, the sound and projection excellent. I rarely go to the first run theaters anymore. Why pay $8 or $9 or even $13 for a 3D movie, when you can watch the same movie a couple months later for over 75% off?

I think the guy above who gave this theater a 1 star is talking about a different movie theater. I am a highly educated professional woman who took my children to the theater while growing up. You know teenagers they wanted to take their friends and (at the time it was know as the $.50 theater) it was more economical for me considering it was not the cool if they did not get popcorn and candy. Now I have grandchildren and I take them to this theater too unless it is a new "Nana I have to see this movie" release like Cars. In this case I break down and go to the Dublin 18/Rave where the movie experience and the atmosphere are the same just more expensive. -
The comment 2 comments down is WRONG!!! He probably works for red box. The tickets are $1.00, $1.50 or sometimes $2.00 OR 0.50. The seats are nice the food is a good price same with the snacks and the movie is good lighting un like the other person said! Let's call him redbox. Redbox said the movie lighting was bad and the speakers small and bad. If you went you would not be disappointed!!! A lot cheaper then other movie theatres. GO NOW!!! -
I've been going to Carriage Place since I was in my mom's belly. I go there all the time and love it every time I go. The theater does only cost $1, sometimes $1.50, and most times on weekends only $.50. The food is actually at a fair price for all the different deals they offer. And for the friendliness of the workers and the quality of the movie, seats, and food. It's a great place to go on a tight budget. I highly recommend it. -
The idiot above with the 1 star is flat out lying & probably working for redbox!...this is a great theater period!..& yes its a $1.. Or $1.50, maybe $2 on wkend but thats the most..and the refreshments are a bit pricey like other mainstream theaters..but how do u think they can only charge a $1...HELLOOOOO...LOL!..just go..i love the quality & value!
