I have been going to movies at Cinemark for many years and until this visit, have always enjoyed the theater. I will however, NEVER go to a movie at this theater again. Let me explain. First, I bought tickets to Cinemark at Costco to save myself some money, the card that you take to check out said it was for all movies, Imax and 3D included. We went to see Spider-Man 2 in 3D and the theater charged me another 1 dollar a ticket. I understand that 1 dollar a ticket is not that much and I paid it. It wasn't until I looked at the ticket and realized the ticket price was only $8.50 meaning I had just paid and extra $.50 a ticket buying my discounted tickets at Costco. I will complain to Costco as well. Now, an extra $1 is not that much but it is the principle that they entered into an agreement with Costco as a chain to sell reduced movie tickets and it ended up costing me more than if I had just bought the ticket at the theater. But it doesn't end there.

I think we can all agree that movie concessions are outrageously priced. So when you pay the extra money for a large drink and a large popcorn, it is because they only refill the large. Well, for $5.10 plus tax, they sold me a large drink but oh, wait, they don't refill drinks anymore, only large popcorn. All of these theaters are privately owned and contract with a group, like Cinemark or Regal or whoever. This theater is ONLY concerned about making a profit with NO regard for the customer. I will NEVER GO BACK to THIS theater again. There are far too many options to go to a theater that cheats their customers. With the hundreds of people that I saw at the theater on Saturday, those few cents they stole across a lot of customers is a LOT of money. I will spend my money else where from now on!!!
