This review is old and only represents one view. The theatre is fine. ALso, they now have 3D!
However, the volume is never loud enough and you have to leave to to find someone to turn it up--nobody's ever around. When you finally do find someone, they say they'll take care of it, but they never do.
And it's always WAY too hot! Again, you can't get this taken care of, even if you do find someone.
Both problems result in you missing part of the movie and are real pains in the butt. -
HORRIFIC!!!!!!!!!!! The movie theater itself is "ok" ... the prices of the movies are extremly expensive for the quantity / quality of everything from stale popcorn, flat pop, and expired candy, but the popcorn / pop prices they kept the same at $5.50 for a small popcorn and it holds less popcorn than an adults small, plus the childerns comes with candy / pop a MUCH better deal than the 3 cups of popcorn for the adult small.
After the dirty looks from employees you then exeriance STICKY, ICKY, AND EXTREMLY DIRTY seating area!!! the employees do not care what their theater seating area looks like and its evedant they have zero pride in their job. I feel they do not have any form of managment. My daughter wanted to put food on the floor and it was SO NASTY I told her if she put even her pop on the floor she would not have it due to sanitary issues. :O( It sucks I spent $40.00 on 3 tickets, 2 "small" popcorns, 1 kid popcorn and the dirtness of the theater makes me want to call the inspectors and have them inspect the food areas, I feel that they could kill someone if the food / prep area is as dirty as the seating area.

Then people in owatonna wonder why our theater is rumored to close. I feel it SHOULD close due to the prices the portion size cut of their products, and the uncleanilness.
HORRIFIED!! I will drive an hour to go to the movies, having something like that and paying $40 dollars for less than 2 hours of entertainment not worth the conveniance. I will add an additional $20. of gas to have a cleaner place to sit. :O(
