Hi, this is the Manager of the Carmike Cinemas responding to the incorrect prices on this website, and the incorrect prices and showtimes routinely found on similar websites. These are not official websites controlled by Carmike Cinemas, therefore there is no way we can "fix"
or "correct" any faulty information, there are hundreds if not thousands of similar websites out there, and who know where they are getting their information from or how often it is being updated. Please go to carmike. coor fandango . cofor accurate information, these are the only websites that we have any control over. If you surf the web you should know that a good bit of the information on them is incorrect, false,

Just wanted to let anyone know that was planning to see a movie at this theater and was looking at the prices on the website. They are wrong. We went recently, website says Adults $7.00, children $5.00. Well, we got there and surprise Adults $8.75, children $6.25. A whopping $7.25 difference, and today, thats a big deal. I questioned it when we paid and they really didn't seem to care, said they knew it was wrong and were like, oh well....I don't go for that. I guess I should have talked to the manager at the time, but the movie was gonna start and I was there with my family. I just called the manager today, and he didn't really seem to care, said they don't do anything with the website and didn't even offer to compensate for the difference or anything. Said they'd "try" to fix it. Yeah right. As if prices weren't high enough, you then have to pay more than expected. Not what I was expecting at all. Just wanted to let people know so they weren't surprised like we were. -
I think the movie theater is a great place to hang with friends or family or even the boyfriend/girlfriend, theres so many movies to pick from most of them are either scary or funny i like scary movies and sometimes funny , i love going to see a movie with friends and my boyfriend it just gives you time with them and out of your house . so my opinion of the movie theater is that its a great : )

i've been there a lot of time. i like it, but there is room for improvement.
popcorn is good but when you ask for butter they don't add much. overall great movie theater, even though there are better theaters around (: -
in my opinion the movies is the best way to hang with friends. i go to the mall every friday and most saturday and always see a movie. the prices are getting a little high but im not complaining. it gets me out of the house. and popcorn is the way to go. its not normal to go see a movie without popcorn. some of the seats are in bad condition but overall the movies are amazing.

The worst theater in the region!! Sticky floors, uncomfortable broken squeaky chairs.
The line in sometimes wrapped halfway around the mall before the box office opens! I don't think they realize they could sell more overpriced junk food if they gave the customers enough time to actually stand in another line! -
If you're gonna complain about the theater DON'T GO!! It's that simple seriously people its ridiculous the amount of complaining that goes on. The theater is very good for the price! If you want nachos with cheese and not popcorn go some where else its a movie theater!! If you're gonna be a snob about stuff don't go to public places cause obviously they aren't good enough. The theater is great and it is cheap. I think its an awesome place to go and its inexpensive. -
Ignorant also means unaware or uninformed. The root word being IGNORE. Very much so relevant for people using cell phones in a theatre as they ignore, and are unaware of their surroundings, and uninformed that is rude to do so. The employees at this theatre are awesome. It is well managed and the prices are not unrealistic. They also have certain days you can get deals on food while attending. In addition....Popcorn is wayyy better at a movie theatre then are Nachos. The chips are almost always stale, and the cheese hardens before they mix it back up.

I think the theater is wonderful :) I go with my friends and I don't complain because I get out of my house and get to watch good movies. And if you don't like the popcorn maybe you can eat before you go to the theater, it's probably cheaper. Hagerstown is nice but not if you don't live close enough.

well, being that the word ignorant means of limited intelligence. not rude maybe, you should just focus on watching the movie and not trying to brand other people. for all you know it could of been a doctor on call.
