Whoever gave the grade of one star is wrong. I have bought tickets off fandango many times for the Olean/Allegany Carmike, so don't take someone else's limited internet capabilities as a downgrade to the theater. Using Fandango is the same for this theater as it is for all theaters.
I love going to Carmike, and go regularly. I don't like the phone message because it's hard to understand, but if you have internet access it's easy to see what movies are playing and times.
The people there are great, and I feel like family when I go!!! -
The actual theater and the people who work there are good. Very clean, easy parking, no waiting for bathrooms. People are friendly. My complaint is that they will not post on the internet what movies are playing and seldom can you get anyone to answer the phone. They advertise that tickets can be purchased over the internet but I have tried on two occasions and Olean does not participate in this.
Because we can not look up what movies are playing, we seldom bother going but if we could see what they are offering we might drive to the city once a week or so to watch one. We are centered between Wellsville which has a theater, Hornell which offers one and Olean and would prefer to go to Oleans Carmike but not knowing what is playing, we don't bother. -
This is a very nice, clean theater. All of the people who work there are very friendly and helpful as well. It is well maintained and spacious. The individual theaters are large,report this review for TOS violationfortable, and neat. Also the bathrooms are also large and clean...no waiting in line to use the bathroom. There is parking right in front and to the side of the theater so accessing the place is also very easy.
