Love the old theatre but there is a persistent problem with incorrect movie starting times posted on the internet. We have twice been too late for movies because of this. Recently missed "The Help", because start time was listed as 4:15 PM when it actually started at 3:45 PM. Owner claims she never advertises on the Internet and was quite vexed.

Wow~ the person who gave 1 star must have come from another planet! We've lived in this county 31 years & the Bay has got the drill down & right on & have been in the business & family-owned 4ever. They are always polite & eager to serve.
It's internal architecture reminds 1 of what an Elizabethan stage must have looked like. It's a delightful theatre in a delightful quaint town!!
It's always clean except 4 during & after a show where some of the boorish clientel dump their trash with complete abandon. -
This is the best movie theater in the SLO area. The staff is always friendly has a few jokes, aaaaand, be prepared to eat a lot of popcorn if you order the large, it is enough for 4. Not burried with commercials either. I watch what they have in advance and just plan to "See it there"

This local theatre is always clean, well run (besides what the jerk said in a previous comment) welcoming, friendly and has the latest movies come to town very quickly. The cost can't be beat either.

GREAT LOCAL THEATRE! Love the building, the comfortable seats, the great staff, the clean floors, the movie choices, and best of all the great popcorn with real butter!!! we are so lucky to have you Morry Bay theatre.

get a clue people....you're supposed to write a review of the theater and not the movie you saw. I personally think the Bay Theater is an gem. So few well run single screen theaters remain. Unless something has changed dramatically since my last visit, I give them five stars. -
This theater has no idea what they are doing. they don't even have the decency to update movies and times.. GET A LIFE MB theatre. You have been this way for years..... Shape up or close up!!! -
i loved this movie - what a suprise to walk in not knowing much about it and leave the theatre with a warm and happy heart. i spoke with several friends about the movie and they loved it as well.
so refreshing to watch something so well done, without being sensational, violent or pornographic. Just a wonderful story.
highly recommended for creative, intelligent sensitive humans. -
This movie was a real disappointment. Wonderful caste, but terrible story. The ending looked as though the director ran out of film......
T om Hanks is a genius. But this was one that got away from him.
