I took my date to see The Artist" tonight. What a great theater! Seeing an old style movie in a gem of a theater just feels right. There's even a good, local, coffee place next door. My date and I went there for coffee before the show. Unfortunately, she spilled her coffee down the front of her dress. We decided to see the show anyway, because I wasn't wet. We were waiting inline for tickets when the manager noticed my girlfriend's dress. He brought her into his office and gave her a bathrobe to wear while he scrubbed her dress in the sink. We went in and watched the movie. The manager dried the dress in front of one of those excellent hand dryers.
This theater, and the people that work there, are the best! -
I saw "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" at Amherst Cinema last week. The theater is great. It's in a downtown, not a mall. The seats are good, it's clean, and the people who work there are polite. What I liked best are the hand dryers.
