It has changed a lot for the better following the previous owner. However, lately has been very disappointing in the movie turnover. Popular new releases are not coming and the same movies seem to stay much longer then necessary. And definately does not need to have 2 of the same movie in 2 different theaters. If it is 2d or 3d just use 1 theater and offer each at different times. Then more opportunity for other new releases.
It's gotten A LOT better now with the new management. It's cleaner and the upkeep is better. They are also getting a better selection of movies. We want to keep this theater in our community, let's support this local business!
I think that this theater has come along way. The staff is friendly. They clean the bathrooms often and clean up after every movie. There use to be problems with the projectors but that has not happened for a few years now when I have attended. For a small town we are lucky to have it! Paula J-J
I hate to even give this theatre one star. I only choose to go to this theatre because it's close by. the theatre hasn't changed much. still smells horrid and your feet still stick to the floor. they let under-age children into rated R movies and basically lets them be disruptive. Everything is also over-priced here (Paid $7 for a small water bottle). Would not recommened this theatre. Hope it gets better
THe movie theater was dirty. THe workers kept checking on us and were bothering us throughout the movie. As i was going to buy some candy, I asked can I have some candy and she corrected me. My 3-D glasses didnt have lenses in them so i couldnt see the movie. People were putting their feet up on the back of the seats. The bathrooms were dirty. The popcorn and pop were varry EXPENSIVE. They had varry few movies to choooooose from. THe secuirity guard yelled at us for standing. The seats were poorly maintained. The workers were not trained into there field of buisness, and were unprepared for their upcoming challanges with removing Joe The Dragon Slayer from the movie
Went to GI Joe 3D on Good Friday at 7pm showing. They allowed infants and toddlers in. They cried, screamed through the entire movie. We left our kids home to enjoy a movie! Manager didn't care. Avoid this theater like the plague if you value your money and sanity!
I've experienced good customer service since the new ownership. I can not recall the level previously of cleanliness, however things have been satisfactory on my last two show dates. I plan to go again today. It was very frustrating while the show schedules onlines caught up with the change of ownership and finding movie times and accuracy was difficult. Things have been on track for a couple weeks now and show times have matched the online listings. Its a decent theater and improving
Well I've lived in DL for a few years now and the last owners of it were varry sloppy and lazy on cleaning and upkeep... Place stunk and was filthy every time I went there.. But its under new ownership now and HOPEFULY it will get better... I plan on going to see a movie for the first time since its got new owners so I'll see how diferent if at all it is.
def not my fav theater, but it's close to the lake, so what are you else are you going to do on rainy days. new chairs and some attention to detail cleaning would go a very long way
My family wanted to see a movie on Thanksgiving. Drove 20 miles out. Was informed that the time listed online was incorrect. What was most disappointing was the treatment I received from the women at the desk whom argued with me to prove me wrong.
First...I do not need someone to try and prove me wrong! Her behavior was most insulting. I double checked the times the day of the movie before we left and when we got back. And yes it is in FACT listed for the time I told her.
This would not be such a big deal if she would have just been honest with me and say it was a mistake and apologize instead of trying to make an argument.
