i love this place... spent the anniversary here with the gf and i think were gona do it again... love just chillen in the back of the truck under the stars. perfect spot for cal poly kids to go on a semi-romantic date

I hope Sunset Drive-In is never taken away from us! I really enjoy going to the drive-in still since I am "old school". The snack bar is reasonable as are the price. They haven't raised it too high over the years! Although, I still remember paying 2 bucks a car load! Hey I'm gonna go tonight.

Nothing fancy, no frills, and totally the way it's always been, the Sunset Drive In is a place I have been going to since childhood, and is the much needed reminiscent arena I can go to to take me back to simpler times, before all the hassles of adulthood and modern times. The snack bar is reasonabley priced, especially compared to the other theaters, the nachos are good, the radio station is clear, and the place is maintained decently. Usually they get some great top shelf movies too, and I have a lot of fun with my gal when we go to the show. My only suggestion is that they pair some of the movies better. For example, they might pair an action with a drama that doesn't fit the same crowd. But usually they do pretty well. That being my only complaint, I say grab your sweety or some friends, come as you are, and hunker down and enjoy the show! Oh, and who can forget all the old timey commercials are still here, awesome!
