You guys ever hear of a telephone? Call them for information if there's no info online. This theater provides a needed service to those of us who don't want to pay premium prices just to see a movie. When my son was little, this place saved the life of a young single mother. I'm now 58, and still want to see certain movies. I'm not into blue-ray, I like movies. I like this place.
They do not have roaches ..That's a lie...That old guy is a very nice man and so are the young people. They are very cordial ..The popcorn is always fresh...The place is clean...Never saw a sticky floor.. Stay away from good ,,honest people.. YOU WANT THEM TO KISS YOUR HINEY.. STAY AWAY...BEAT THE DEAL IF YOU CAN.....BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS..NEVER DISAPPOINTED...
Guys... really? What do you want for $2? With 4 children I personally can't afford to go pay $8-10 for a movie! I have been going to this theater for at least 25 years and I they had technical difficulty once. Heck, I went to Pastime and paid $8 and they had technical problems and it was like pulling teeth to get a credit for a movie on a future date! I have never seen a roach (in response to first post), their popcorn isn't always hot, but its good and a LOT cheaper than the other movies, and if you haven't seen the movie yet, who cares if it's been out for a while. I think it's a great value, especially when you have children! BTW.. their number is (803) 772-7469. Just call for the movie listing. What? Are phones outdated too???
I would've given it half a star if I could've. Place is a haven where c***roaches go to die. Once I had a cargo van full of items broken in to and items stolen. Place is a haven for the cast from the star wars cantina scene. Just horrible. And the place is freezing in winter & humid in summer. I'm sure it was fine back in the 1980's when it opened but some 35 years later it's just a haven for the retarded.
If you like when people talk during movies
If you like seeing the c***roaches dance in the popcorn
If you like what was current six months earlier but you can now buy on Blu ray
If you like the bald headed Wang of a manage
If you think $2 to catch the Ebola virus is worth it
Then by all means. Do your movie watching here
Bonus points if you can guess what the sticky stuff on the floor might be.
My recommendation. Turn it in to an adult movie cinema. You already have the sticky icky on the torn up seats in front of you. V
Rename it peewees playhouse.
While they often are not listed on the regular movie theater websites, they keep their own up to date. Here it is.
One u guys r wrong they do post the movies and the times and you guys just need to spend the time to look instead of judging places that you don't kno.
Hi, didn't notice the '45 word' minimum before so my last post might not have been posted. 25 word minimum? Don't they know this is the cyber age were we IM and tweet and LOL and TTYL.
well, I thought that would be enough but I was still short.
anyway, if this site is not showing the movies try
cut and paste whole string, no spaces, and yes the '?' goes on the end.
tc and ttyl...
For $2, you can't beat the convenience and number of movies offered.....unless you prefer to cram your whole family in the car and go to the Monetta drive-in for $3.
hummm...let's try this again. didn't see the post after I had to create a login...
Good value for the money, but, you get what you pay for. The manager acts like a dip-wad most of the time. and 2 of the theaters were never upgreaded and the seats suck.
but like to other person said, IF YOU WANT TO BE SURE, CALL.
once I check online but when I got there the movie had started 30 min before. the manager said the had nothing to do with the web sites.
the web site does not go directly to their site. ???
If you go to http://www.lexington-explorer.com/info-theaters.htm it list most of the theaters around columbia. you can click St. Andrews to get a listing of their shows/time. *** but be warned!!! it's as dependable as this one. sometimes no listings and sometimes bad times. today it had a listing where as this site didn't. FYI
Also: if you see this part of the msg I didn't have to join up or login. FYI
...OK that didn't work....had to login which me i had to sign up....oh well
...I created a fake email ID: Mr.MovieKid@ymail. co... the pswd to sign-in to this site is: freepass
feel free to use it if you don't want to signup or join this side. HAGD
It's good to have St. Andrews RD Cinemas Phone # (provided above)... the listings here are the responsibility of the theater, and in my experience, they have a tendency to neither post nor update, so that the theater may have different films and times once you get there. In other words, call for back-up. 3-stars overall... 5-stars for value ($2.00 a ticket), 2 stars for theater condition... and the fact that twice in about 100 visits, technical difficulties ended the film early, but in those cases, full refunds or a pass to another movie were offered at the customer's choice.
