I hate to say this I grew up going to this theater and it used to be awesome but when the new managment took over it seem like they stopped caring.
I used to want to work there with some of my peeps from East Gaston but those peeps who worked there quit because of how it was being ran.
Because u spend almost 18 bucks for one ticket and 10 for a matinee

Sorry i aint paying that for a matinee. ILL STICK TO GOING TO NORTHLAKE WHERE ITS 5 BUCKS.

HEY REGAL GET SOME NEW MANAGEMENT AND U MIGHT GET UR CUSTOMERS BACK!

This is just me so pease dont judge. I love this theater i have so many good memories here and they have friendly staff that greet you as you walk in. The traffic is not that bad compared to Northlake Mall. The only problem that they have is prices, but otherwise this is always going to be where i go to see my movies. But you know that just my option on this theater...... :) No hard feelings!

On 1/31/2014 I saw Lone Survivor in cinema #5. And for what movies and snacks cost, I don't think that it is asking to much for the sound system to be working properly. The speakers are blown. And to watch a action movie with blown speakers just doesn't work. The management was aware of this because of the number of complaints, but from the management.....no apollogies and no discounts. Just take the money and run.

I absolutely love the Regal Theater in Gastonia. I live 40 minutes away, but I love the atmosphere, and kind staff so much, that I'm willing to drive the distance.

agree...going to this theater is much closer but the teenagers act up all the time. Either they are being extremely loud, texting, walking around in front of you so you can't see.

It may have been this one or north lake but, a cop came in told them to settle down or they had to leave. What they didn't know was the cop was still in there & said *beep* that cop and returned to ac up. So I guess he radio backup and the teenagers were escorted out. At this point everyone clapped.

The prices are ridiculous, the refreshment prices are outrageous, then patrons that attend the place at night are rude, having relations in the upper seats and have filthy mouths. I would recommend you wait until the movie comes to DVD

Shame on this place for ripping people off!.. I arrived with 3 kids.. and was told it would cost $40.00 because the movie was in 3D.$40.00 just to walk through the door!! Everyone needs to let this greedy place go out of business. If people will stop paying for the over-priced tickets, they will have no choice but to drop the ticket price. I hope to see this company go Bankrupt in return for ripping people off! The only reason they got 1 star from me is because the lady at the ticket booth was friendly. People stop wasting your money on this place, it's not ok to be ripped off.

This theater is s***, it smells bad, the sound sucks, and of course the people are trash. Phone conversations, sexual activity going on, Left over dna, the prices are crucifying, and it is the only movie theater in town, Its a Monopoly of s***. What happened to the Water tower, Litchfield or even the Eastridge Mall movies, Come on somebody do some s***. Its disappointing.

i have been going to this theater since i was little and for me its a good theater its close by and for the people that give it a 2 or a 1 star, why would i waist precious gas to go all the way to Shelby or Charlotte when there's a perfectly good theater right down the road
