In response to bruno being shown that is an issue with what society deems indecent and not, and as that varies greatly, I have no problem with it being shown, an R rating is the highest and censoring that would be unconstitutional. Also most R rated movies show completely nude females and that isn't considered that scandalous. It's a movie that is meant to be entertaining and it did its job. I give props to the obscenity of it. I think it's refreshing. I do however have a problem with the uncomfortable seating . . .

We love our Turlock theater and attend at least two times a month on a regular basis; however, we are quite surprised that Bruno is being shown in our Turlock theater. There are full-view, close-up shots of breasts, peckers, and butts. The scene of the swinging, dancing pecker is a frontal shot and very close up. On a big screen, some viewers may feel as if they are getting a twenty-foot moving male member shoved right in their faces. (Some might like this... but all should be aware of what's coming... ugh!) Moreover, there are shots of people engaged in sexual acts (the swingers party) and of homosexual sexual acts. Although there are black spots or squares over the most intimate areas, there is little left to the imagination. I realize this movie has an R rating, but I'm still surprised that a public theater can show it. I'm surprised our Turlock theater stooped so low.
My husband and I went to the Turlock Stadium this past Saturday and saw Journey to the Center of the Earth - it was okay...... Later we talked to others who had seen it in 3D and they really liked it. Why was it not shown in 3D at Turlock or why were we not given the special glasses? We are very dissappointed!! !!!!
