Well I've lived here all my life (60 ) and enjoy going to the movies both in Klamath and Medford. They don't put much into keeping things up at our theater as they are the only game in town. The seats are worn out and their consession prices are terrible; its what we have if we want to go out to a movie. I wished we'd get some competition in town to improve things, but our ecconmy won't support it and when another company tried a number of years ago, this one ran them off.

Cmon, b@#$ b@#$ b@#$ as my grandpa would say.
You had to wait 10 minutes for something
REALLY...and the world was still spinning somehow
You had to endure someone talking to there Friend
About an actual life experience, that happens Outside
Your arm got scratched...RUB SOME DIRT ON IT!
And horror of horrors you found the one movie seat with
Gum on it Wahahaha welcome to the club, its called "Life"
We've been expecting you. Due to fiscal shortage we couldn't
afford enough sugar to coat the entire world for you...
There will be barbs and pokes along the way.
    Keep calm and carry on.

very bad experience, had to wait ten minutes to ask staff a question because they were talking to their friends about the fair that was in town, the sound was bad, we seen hangover 2 and there was even a young guy with a baby in a carrier that just made the movie feel like a hangover. poor kid. bring a long sleeve, the arm rests will scratch u, dont let ur fingers wander, got mine stuck in what i hope was gum? just grabing a napkin out of my cup holder.. better make it a blockbuster night...

I think Pete and his comments about Ashland, buttery popcorn, and the gentleman's complaint above him represent the basest neanderthal thinking of a man with no cultural exposure outside his tiny, unidirectional life that is defined by Klamath Falls.

It's sad when you pay $16.00 to watch a movie and have to hear the movie in the theater next to the one your in. Or the arm rest coming off and scratching up my girls arm. When we complained to the excuse for a manager he says" I can't do anything about it. That may be true because the building is old with poor acoustics and shabby furniture. Living in Klamath Falls you become accustomed to terrible service because there is no competition. Just more reason to go to blockbuster or the internet.Or go someplace that has embraced at the very least the 21st century!

I just returned from watching Avatar in 3D. The sound was excellent, the view was excellent, the movie was unbelieveable. It is obviously the next step in Movie Technology. I have been going to Pelican cinemas for several years now and am always impressed by their ability to keep up with the latest trends even though they have a small town audience. I sometimes am not impressed by the patrons, but that is not the fault of Pelican Cinemas.
I don't understand the review from Bliggy, above. He sounds like a card carrying member of the "ME" generation. (What's the matter, not enough butter on your popcorn?) I know there are lots of homes for sale in Ashland. Perhaps he should consider moving. That way he can have the wonderful experience of seeing 60 year old hippies running around naked. Now that's art! And with the added pleasure of paying taxes when you go to McDonalds.
(I think I'll stay in Klamath Falls and enjoy the redneck' Pelican Cinemas)
