This theater is a freaking JOKE. Constantly understaffed, so that no matter what, you're spending most of your time standing in line. Once we stood in line for 15 minutes, only to have the employee abandon our line just before we got to front! And instead of being apologetic for long lines, the employees act like complete rude idiots. also, the theaters themselves and screens are tiny. Maybe worst of all, trying to find the list of showings is like trying to crack into the CIA's database. Are we supposed to just GUESS what's playing and when???? -
the movie theater just got a million dollar upgrade and is now amazing. im definitely liking it now.

I have been to this theater multiple time and have never had a bad experience. There are always 5 or 6 people on duty and the movie has been on time, every time. -
thats bs the watertown cineama 5 is a very decent experiance i would tell anyone about it, it was a nice place to view a movie -
I recently attended a movie at the Watertown Cinema 5, It was not a pleasant experience.
The floor of the Theater was unclean and it appeared that nobody had cleaned it in a very long time.
The bathrooms were also very un-clean
The popcorn i purchased tasted bad and even though they had just popped some fresh popcorn i got about the bottom third of the bag full of inedible shells, defiantly not worth the cost.
The theater i was sitting in had almost no armrests, which is very uncomfortable to sit in during a movie.
Last year my father bought the coupons that came with a free movie pass as he has for the past several years, they gave him a bunch of EXPIRED movie passes and when we finally found a movie that your theaters honor them at they were refused even though the manager had assured my father that they would take them since they had run out of valid ones.
Ov erall the Watertown, SD Cinema 5 sucks, i don't plan to see anymore movies there anytime soon the experience was so bad. I would give the theater an F.
