I love this theater! i have never been to a better one it my life! I recommend the movie: Mission Impossible! Best movie thus far i have seen this year! LOL! :) -
Love the theater! Me and my family just moved to Hiram and were concerned because we loved the AMC theaters. We are glad that 278 is in Hiram. The seating is awesome as well as the condition of the theater. It is excellent! -
This is a great place to go with friends and family! The prices for concessions are a little pricey but it makes up for it for the cheap admission prices! -
Just because you purchase a ticket early doesn't mean you have a "reserved seat", it just means you have a ticket to get in without having to stand in line. This isn't the FOX. -
I have been going to Movies 278 for a very long time as well. We have never had a problem with anyone or anything there. We were there for the opening of Eclipse last year and even then we had no problems. I would highly recomend this theater to all my friends and family..

DATE NIGHT RUINED!!!!
We have been going to this theater for years and never had a problem until now! We go up to purchase tickets 1 hour in advance (since they don't sell on line) grab a quick bite to eat and return prior to the movie starting. We enter the theater to find no seating available. We sat on the floor, in the handicap section, to watch the movie. We were told (along with 32 other people) we had to leave due to fire code safety rules. We immediately went to the manager and asked for a refund AND to still watch the movie we purchased advanced tickets for. We were told we could see a later movie or have a refund but were not allowed back in to watch the screening we came in for (fire safety rules). Of course we were very upset and tried explaining or frustrations to them- which fell on deaf ears ready to give excuses.
1. When we purchase tickets early and come in early to see the movie why do we not get a seat? Why do you over sell a movie that badly? ANSWER- there are probably people sitting in the movie that do not belong and there is no way to go ask everyone for their tickets. Rebuttal- No you can't ask everyone for their ticket BUT I bet if you go in there (speaking to the officer now) and make an announcement that those with tickets to another movie need to leave at once- I bet at least 10 people would leave. Also- if you have a high profile movie on opening night (like this one) why not take tickets at the theater door, not in the lobby? ANSWER- show up earlier! Yes, now blaming us for their screw up. 32 VERY ANGRY people in the lobby now.
Every third month date night ruined by people who didn't even care nor did they care to hear ways to prevent this from happening again to someone else.
CRAPPY, CRAPPY, CRAPPY!!!!! -
Love this theater, it is awesome. I don't have any complaints about this place at all been going here since it opened.
