The Jamestown 14 Cine is a nice and convenient movie theater for the residence of North Saint Louis County and nearby unincorporated Saint Charles County. The big problem that Jamestown Mall faces during this age is that its located in a mostly residential and forgotten section of north county that's makes it one of the worst areas for a retail shopping center. It's the only open St. Louis mall left that's not visible from a major interstate highway to attract the traffic it needs. it's also been a victim of bad management marketing and maintenance since the original owner sold it. The reason that it hasn't been redeveloped yet is because the property is owned by 5 different companies. Other than the theater the only other big attractions it has is a JCPenney outlet and Macys. I for one have never had a problem or felt uncomfortable shopping there. -
I do not know what management company currently runs the Jamestown mall complex. But the company that ran it from 2005-2007 was incompetent. I worked directly under the management for about two years, and the Manager who ran the mall was amoral, unprofessional, and a risk to the well being of patrons and staff. It is not a surprise to see a ghostown with third rate business booths. And it was never “taken” over by “you know who’s, the management team of the mall from 2005-2007 was caucasian. Their poor decision making led to what happened. Blame the people who run the show. -
What do you mean by "you know whos" A typical racist remark from a person of ignorance.
This is a very nice place to go and watch a movie. -
This movie theatre is still a great place to view a movie. The prices are reasonable, it's clean, the bathrooms are also clean, popcorn always fresh and staff very friendly. BUT don't make the mistake and go to the restaurant right across from the theatre... O'Petsky's. That restaurant was the worst place I have EVER eaten at... EVER. The service is bad and the food is absolutely HORRIBLE!!! -
Great place to go for a movie, clean and the staff is very friendly, also the best prices around. Matinees are usually lightly attended and a great time to go. There is a great restaurant right across from the theater in the mall called O'Petsky's that is very reasonable and a good atmosphere. -
I had a good experience at this theatre. The staff was courteous and accommodating. On my visit the bathrooms were clean as was the screening area. There was room to stretch out because it was not very crowded. There is not much left in the mall as far as shopping goes but, I found it to be a nice place to go for movie viewing. -
when is this mall going to be put out of its misery? Horrible management, horrible bathrooms. Just another typical north county place of business taken over by "you know whos" and ruined.
