Funky, old-fashioned single-screen theater in a charming downtown. I took in a double feature on a weeknight for $2.00, plus $4.00 for popcorn and soda. Watched the second film from the balcony. Not the cleanest theater I've ever been in, and the men's restroom was rather cramped, but all in all some enjoyable movie-going -- much more amenable to the collective experience of watching a film than today's sterile multiplexes -- and worth the half-hour drive from Durham (and the half-hour drive back)!
