POOR Management, SORRY is the reply, have had Issues the last 3-of 4 visits. First construction hammering noise, everyone walked out, could not hear the movie! second the sound went off for a few minutes, the film stopped. Today 18th Dec, Hobbit movie GTX theatre, workers turned the theatre lights on during the movie for about ten minutes, then the emergency lights in the hallway shined into the upper theatre area.
Response was Sorry, from the female managers. I'd be rich from hearing Sorry !!! another Issue they give times of the showing, but you don't know if it is the regular film, or 3D film, or the GTX film, so you go and have to see the Expensive GTX showing, have the lights come on and here Sorry as an excuse!!!! Its too expensive for the movie and refreshments !!! Time to go elsewhere !! Maybe the managers should be more customer friendly, they should go elsewhere !!
I found this theatre to be clean and well rounded, the complaints about the restrooms is ridiculous, seriously its 2 hours are you guys crying 10 and cant go before you show up or just cant hold it. The concession stand I found to be fine, you have to realize that while under construction the employees are having to do both ticket sells and product so ease up a bit. The sound and picture quality are great however I do agree with the negative that other movies sound does spill into the movie you are watching which can be a bit distracting. Overall for the locality and the experience its a great value, if you want a better theatre then drive an hour both ways and go to tampa, aside from that ill leave on a side note .....DA HELLS UP WITH 5$ POPCORN =)
This theater is way over priced for what you get. The ticket prices are high, the seats are very uncomfortable (hard, old, some are broken), not enough rest rooms during the busy times, mediocre concessions, and a less than friendly staff. I will go to Spring Hill 8-even though the seats there are horrible, the price is right. If I want a quality movie experience I will go to Cobb Theaters in Wesley Chapel. The drive and extra money are worth it.
It's alright. Still not as good as the Tampa theaters at the same price with far superior facilities. Again they get away with it because it's the only first run theater in town and they know it, so why upgrade the facilities? As for there being "plenty of restrooms" I suppose that's true if by "plenty" you mean "two" a single mens room and a single ladies room in the middle of the building with an entrance on either side. The Spring Hill 8 has more restrooms and comparable seating and equipment at much lower prices. The only drawback being that the Spring Hill 8 is primarily a second run theater, so if it's not a guaranteed blockbuster, you won't see it there on opening weekend. If the movie I want to see is in both theaters, I'll see it at the Spring Hill 8. If the 8 doesn't have it, then I will grudgingly spend the extra money at Beacon to see it sooner.
I happen to like this theater, people are friendly, and plenty of restrooms, seats are comfortable you aren;t there to take a nap just watch a movie,If you like Cobb drive all that way then, but me i will stay here in town
Prices have recently increased , though lower then in the Tampa area. Theaters are small and noisey. In acequate bathrooms for the amount of people in the theater.
This theater does not rate that high of prices .. the theater needs to be bigger, with better sound, more comfortable seating, etc ..its certainly not comparable to the Cobb in Wesley Chapel or Tampa AMC's who charge the same amount .. but, since its the only show in town, we have to pay to see a movie that is up to date ..
