I visited the Fallon theatre on February 15 to see the matinee showing of "Lone Survivor" while passing through Fallon on a business trip. I had read the reviews and was a bit skeptical about stopping but decided to take a chance. And I'm happy I did. My experience was completely positive. I was greeted with a smile and returned it with mine when I found the price of a ticket to be only $5.00! The theatre is old and quaint. Yes, the seats are well-used and obviously haven't been changed out and there wasn't a lot of leg room. But for the price of a ticket I can manage this inconvenience for a couple hours. The floors weren't any stickier than any other theatre I've been in. In fact I didn't notice them to be sticky at all. And as far as the odor other reviewers complained about all I smelled was the inviting aroma of popcorn and nachos. I was pleasantly surprised that there were no "commercials" shown, only previews. The bathroom were clean. And the managers were accommodating and friendly. I will definitely stop again if ever on my way through Fallon again.

The last movie I saw there was Wall-E and it smelled like vomit. If it wasn't for my kids we would have left and I would have chewed out the owner who is more interested in teenage girls working for him than he is about customer service or the care of his theater.

I remember going to this theater when I was a kid, before it became 2 theaters. I saw E.T. there when it first came out! Great memories. I took my wife and kids there a few years ago, it was so nasty. It took me 10 minutes to convince my wife to stay. She put napkins on her seat before she sat down and wiped the kids down with hand sanitizer after… this was for Wall-E, have not been there since, hopefully they remodeled, it was really bad.

This theater needs an overhaul. Renovating this theater to its original condition with new seating, added highlights, upgrades, and a radio promotion will not only promote tourism, but will make the movie going experience fun, exciting, and pleasurable. It is a win-win.

Hmm... it's okay we need to show more movies and like... it's kind of old don't you think? but it's still a great place to hang out with friends at during the summer :D

Excellent theater! My family of four can go to the movies again for only $30 which includes popcorn and drinks for each of us! Far cheaper than Reno and Carson and the employees are extremely friendly!

If you’re stuck and can’t get out of Fallon it will do in a pinch but by no means a decent theater. The place smells of rotting feet, the floor is constantly sticky and half of the chairs are broken. All of this combined make it very hard to enjoy a movie of any length.

The oldest theatre in northern Nevada is a great place. Id love to be their projectionist some day. :)
