Although this movie theater has seen better days, I enjoy going there for movies. It has recently changed management, and all the employees there are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I throughly enjoy their digital projection, and have never seen any soda spills, or anything else for that matter, on their screens. For the area that they lease, they do the best that they can. They also have many deals that, if taken advantage of, can save you tons of money! They offer a $5.00 movie everyday of the week, between 4 and 530 pm, they also have great deals on Tuesdays where you can get a small popcorn and small drink for $1.00 each! They also offer $5.00 off any concessions combos, which saves you a lot of money. If you are a SMART consumer, this theater is the place to be for friendly service and great movies in Steamboat! -
The management of this theater should be ashamed of themselves for calling this a movie theater. Only one screen has more than one speaker associated with it, & the sound balance is so far gone that it makes listening to a movie a painful experience. How they can charge full movie price for what is only a partial movie experience. My living room home theater sounds exponentially better than any screen in this theater. If a movie comes to this theater that I want to see, I would rather drive the 100 miles to the closest real theater showing the film I want to see. Steamboat has another FANTASTIC movie theater in town, so why is this one still around? If you like sitting in a closet watching a movie through a blown car stereo speaker on a soda splattered screen then by all means, fork over your hard earned money to see a movie in this theater. Otherwise, wait for the DVD.
