Typical of a corporate-owned franchise, this theater is impersonal, over-priced, and always tries to get you to buy an "extra-large with unlimited re-fills". Worst is the 20 minutes of commercials you endure before the previews if you want to go early to relax and chat with your date. Support the smaller places! -
Needs major improvement! Everything except the ridiculous ticket/concession prices scream, "cheap, dollar cinema!" Stadium seating with more comfortable & reclining seats, better sound quality & clearer picture would be nice. I'm used to paying less & having all of the above. But unfortunately, I live in Bangor, Maine now & this is the best it gets.

Not my favorite but it works. Use to IMax theaters but unfortunately Bangor will never have them. IMax is way bigger,better sound, better quality video, and more selection.

The movies are always of good selection, the seating is great. If you are with your sweetie you can always lift up the arm on the seat between you and cuddle. I think it's decently cleaned, I think once, out of the many times I've been to the Bangor Mall Cinemas, there was popcorn and butter spilled onto the floor from the previous showing. That was years ago. Since then it's been clean. The one 3D movie I saw was fantastic to watch. My only issue is how expensive it is. It's almost $20 for two people to go without even getting food/drinks. If you get food and soda/water/etc. expect at least another $10 for that. Since it's not really dinner food also expect to be either going to a restaurant or the local McDonalds. So pretty quickly the price adds up to at least a 45 dollar date night for two if you only go to McDonalds after or before.

I had an EXTREMELY horrible experience at this theatre and I will NEVER go back. They refused to let me in to see a movie I had paid for because I accidentally threw away my ticket (which looks EXACTLY like the receipts they give you, I meant to throw the receipt portion away) They told me their "policy" is that if you lose your ticket you have to purchase another one. I was holding the receipt portion proving I paid, it had my card # which I proved was mine. I was told by the manager that I could look through their trash for my ticket or buy a new one!!!!!! It was humiliating, and demeaning! I had to sit in my car while my friends watched the movie.(I was their ride) At $9 a pop I can't afford to purchase the ticket twice! Gas is too expensive these days! 0 stars! : ( -
Not a bad theater I have heard some sound problems and it could have been cleaned better at times but over all its a pretty good theater. Staff is usually welcoming and nice, clean restrooms and lots of places to park. Really the only downside is that the concessions are pretty expensive on top of the price you already have to pay to view the movie. -
