The Alpine Theater isn't that great. The popcorn is horrible, and the last time I was there the woman behind the counter was incredibly rude to me. The seats are small and cramped, and there are visible holes in the walls. They usually show one movie at a time, and it's usually a few weeks after it premiers in the city. It is great that we have a movie theater out here, but some small, inexpensive improvements could do this theater a whole lot of good. Better popcorn for one. And they would probably do better if they treated their customers better. Like I said, the older woman behind the counter was extremely rude to me. But, it's all we've got, so people go there. But that's no excuse for bad service. -
I love going to our little theater. It can't be compared to the new, plush theaters in the city and it shouldn't want to be. It's a small-town theater with a vintage feel and they offer a movie {yes, just one} at a reasonable price. It's the same theater that I went to as a kid so I always enjoy the step-back-in-time feeling that it gives me. The next closest option is a 1 1/2 hour drive...I'm glad it's here so I can watch an occasional show! -
The Alpine Theatre is small and limited due to that, but so is Colville! It has GREAT prices on admission and snacks. I'd suggest it to anyone in our area. Support local businesses!

The Alpine Theater is a great theater as small town theaters go. The help is freindly an courteuos and the shows are up to date and quality. The snack bar is fully stocked with candy and soft drinks.

Unfortunetly, living in a small town we only have a choice of one movie theatre here. Alpine is the obly walk-in style theatre in Colville. I have been inside it twice and swore that after the first time I probably wouldn\'t return, howevr, I gave them a second try. BIG mistake. The people at this theatre are extremely unfriendly. They don\'t appear to care whether you give them your money or not. Not only does the customer service stink but they are hardly ever open. When they ARE open, they usually play only one money which you can see usually ONE time. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. i wish that someone would come into Colville with a new theatre and put these mean people out of business!
