This is a film based on the novel by Emily Bronte but the director took a new look at the material and refreshed it with new ideas. I read “Wuthering Heights” many many times and I love this novel so I was really afraid that this film will not be as good as the book (it almost never is). The film was not amazing but it was decent and I liked the way the director retold the story and made it fresh. The film was very engaging, beautiful and bold and that is a winning combination for any movie. I loved the atmosphere of this film and I definitely felt that the photography enhanced the sense of desire and pain. Overall, I think this film s worth seeing in the theaters because it is very original and engaging. ‘ -
