As 1 of the so called Ugly Dogs I really do not mind the name of the contest 50% of judging is based on personality I boy do I have that. You see when I attend these contests all I know is I get alot of attention, and belly rubs and if im lucky someone dropped a funnel cake and its all mine!None of the owner belive there dogs are ugly it is generally OTHERS that make the statement. So As I prepare for This years circut of contests remember I am A dog and the greatest thing a dog can have Is LOVE AND ATTENTION I boyt do I get my share of that Thanks for you interest and kind words , Icky the Ugly dog

Oh my God, those dogs were very very ugly. I know it sounds super mean but you would understand if you saw this doc**entary. I love dogs and I truly feel for those poor pups who are not cute enough to be adopted and I think it is admireabled to adopt dogs that are unwanted. However, I do not think it is cool to have an entire contest to basically decide which dog is the most unfortunate looking. I did like this doc**entary and the stories of the owners, their bond with the dogs and desire to win, but I did not like that there is a show called “Worlds Ugliest Dog Contest” and it is known internationally. I think it is unnecessary and even cruel somehow. I do not recommend seeing this film if you have a weak stomach, it is a good film but definitely not easy on the eye.

So it is a doc**entary about unwanted and sorry to say that, very ugly looking animals. I did like the doc**entary, even though it was hard to look at some of the animals. It had a really good message about urging people to adopt the unwanted pets and about the strong bond between the owners and the animals. This doc**entary was more about the rival between the owners of the dogs. I had no idea that there was a huge internationally famous The World’s Ugliest Dog Contest show in Petaluma. It is a whole sub-culture and people take the show very very seriuosly. I did enjoy Kathleen’s story, her ugly little dog-Princess Abby was rescued by her but in the end ended up rescuing Kathleen. It is a warm and entertaining doc**entary that you can enjoy with your family. I recommend seeing it, you will definitely have a good time.
