Winnie the Pooh Movie Reviews

I was so happy to be back to the Hundred Acre Wood with my favourite characters and it was wonderful to see Walt Disney make an old-fashioned and sweet animation that is perfect for the children and the adults. I really was not expecting the animation to be this good and sweet. The animation is very charming and incredibly cute, it has a good message for the children and i loved it as an adult as well. I really like that Disney did not make this animation in 3D and they did not use fancy CGI, it was simple and basic and I really miss that. Overall, I highly recommend seeing this animation with your family.
In a world of 3D and expensive special effects, I can't tell you how refreshing it is to see a movie like Winnie The Pooh. Almost defiantly old school, this 2D cartoon (that's right, no 3D!) takes three AA Milne stories and combines them into a film that barely runs over an hour. There's no explosions or loud soundtrack; it's just Pooh, being Pooh.
The film's plot starts with Pooh on a search for honey, then looking for Eeyore's missing tale. Then Owl spins a crazy story about Christopher Robin being kidnapped by a strange monster, which leads Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and the rest to search for him. If you know Winnie The Pooh, there is nothing unpredictable about the story. Refreshingly, the filmmakers haven't tried to update or revamp the characters.
This really is just a charming, little movie that works for both little kids and adults. Kids will come to know these characters and love them, just as their parents did, and their parents will enjoy being brought back to a time when you didn't have to be assaulted at the movies to be entertained.
This was a great animation and my daughter and I enjoyed it very much. It was nice to see simple animation and familiar characters that i loved as a child and still love as an adult. The film was charming and sweet, I wish Disney made more animations like this. The story was great, I mean it is not noble or clever, Vinnie just wants honey and the story wraps around that. I also liked that the film was short and it did not drag on for 2 hours, it was simply perfect. Overall, I highly recommend seeing this film even if you do not have children, it will cheer you up and remind you of simpler and happier times.
This animation was sweet funny and it is absolutely perfect for children and adults that are accompanying them. It is nothing like the animations that come out these days, it is not shiny and it has no special effects, what it has is a big heart and lovable characters. I took my nephew to see it and we both loved it, I almost cried couple of times and I wish there were more films just like this one for our children. It reminded me of my childhood and the times when animation was simple and full of good emotions and laughter. Overall, I highly recommend seeing this film with your children.
