I usually do not enjoy these type of films because they make me sad. For example, I thought that “The Fighter” was a terriffic film but i did not enjoy watching it because it was sad and way too real, i guess i like feel good films. Therefore, my review will be biased, I did think that the film was very well acted and the story was amazing and it involved the audience very well, I did think it was sad and depressing though. The young actors Nick Thurston and Geoffrey Wigdor did an excellent job and they were very believable as brothers. Karen Allen and Peter Riegert were superb as well, like I said the film had amazing performances. I liked the way the director presented already familiar points in a new and fresh way. Overall, it is a great film but it is not my kind of film.
