No problem with White House Down!!!! Foxx and Tatum was an excellent team taking down the bad guys, should make another movie together down the line. WHD was fun to watch, my wife and son enjoyed the movie also. It reminded me of Olympus Has Fallen, which I thought was a good movie. My secretary and her family saw the WHD twice, I quess that is the highest rating you can give a movie. This weekend I might give it a second look.

Went to see "White House Down" it turned out to be a O bamie auto-bio want-a-be. Re-written version of six month old "Olympus has Fallen".
As one can imagine with the current administration. This must of been a well funded work program for the propaganda writers.
In this re-write again the administration pits the blacks against everyone else.

This is one of the worst "Oh My God" movies ever made.

What a total ideological propaganda hatchet job. Everything to do with the military is evil and incompetent. Statements like "We've spent a trillion dollars on war in the past ten year. Imagine if we'd spent that money building schools and infrastructure in the same countries"...like it's the U.S. responsibility to do so? Every black guy is a saint. All the bad guys are white racists and rogue ex-military. At the end, all the Middle East countries (Iran Saudi Arabia, Israel, etc.) join hands to unite behind the black president's proposal for peace. The premise of the movie is that it could happen if we just tried. This flick is pure propaganda promoting a naive, liberal utopia wrapped in a so-called adventure movie. This is Hollywood unabashedly pumping up the left-wing agenda and calling it entertainment.

Cruise does an okay job in the movie, but the subject is just a bit off. When compared to today's world, where the executive branch is trying to become another King George, the despotic oligarch we fought and bled to break away from, letting the Prez (Sawyer) expire is somewhat appealing. You only wish Cruise didn't try so hard to save him. Maybe the VP isn't really the big buffoon he seems to be.

I really wanted to see this film because it was promised to be as good as Die Hard, unfortunately it was not even close. this film totally sucked and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. The movie was tedious, preachy, bloated and just totally stupid and i wish i did not waste my time and money on it. There is a fine line between being over-the-top enough to be entertaining and just being plain ridiculous and this film was the latter. The characters were not developed at all and I really don’t like Jamie Fox so it was disappointing for me to see him in one of the leading roles.

My boyfriend really wanted to see this film and I went with him just because he begged me to come. I did not like this film and I do not think it is worth seeing in the theaters, especially because there are much better films playing in the theaters right now. The film was extremely corny which I really hate and it was also quite stupid. I also thought that it was so similar to Die Hard and it felt like a total rip-off. I also did not like that the movie was very preachy, it was quite annoying. Overall, I do not enjoy watching films like this one because they are usually incredibly stupid and preachy.

Dear lord, how many movies has Channing Tatum been in lately? He must be the busiest guy in Tinsel Town with so many huge releases coming on each other's heels with such regularity. I did see him in the GI Joe movie with the Rock which I thought was pretty lame but he more than makes up for it with this super cool and slick action thriller. This time it takes place in the White House and Jamie Foxx plays the POTUS (he seems to be channeling Obama and Bruce Willis at the same time) and Tatum is a low level security guard who wasn't good enough to be a secret service agent but who now gets the chance to prove his mettle by saving the President and the White House from terrorists. It's kind of like a video game brought to life. The dialogue is surprisingly not too bad for an action flick and yes, Channing Tatum looks supah hot with his shirt off. Can't wait to see me s'more of The Tatum Pole.

A classic case of all that glitters isn't gold, this movie is really silly but still quite entertaining at the same time. I won't lie and tell you that it's at all memorable (you'll forget it entirely before you've validated your parking ticket) or that it requires anything above a third grade education to get it (it's popcorn, emphasis "corn") but it does what it's supposed to do - take a crazy scheme and premise and make it play out so that tons of huge action sequences, fights, and explosions can take place. I will admit that I did chuckle and roll my eyes whenever they showed President Jamie Fozz stealthily moving around the White House with a gun in his hand (really??) but Channing Tatum does his part well and makes the movie work. Ladies, you'll like it for all the rippling muscles that Tatum shows off; guys will enjoy the action scenes. Not a family movie but a decent date one.
