Where Do We Go Now? (Et maintenant, on va ou?) Movie Reviews
User reviews on Where Do We Go Now? (Et maintenant, on va ou?)
I thought this film had a great message which got lost a bit and that was disappointing. The film was quite charming at times and I was impressed but at other times it fell apart and was a real mess. THe film does not really have a balance because half of the time it seems that nothing is happening and then everything happens in the same time and it feels like it is too much. I thought the acting was really great and it was a real joy to watch the actors do their job. Overall, the film has some flaws but overall it is interesting and entertaining and even though i do not think it is worth seeing in the theaters you might want to rent it.
I thought this film was pretty interesting but I do not think it is worth seeing in the theaters. The film has a great story but the way it is told somehow does not click and the film feels a bit messy. There were a lot of characters in this movie and the problem with that is that the audience did not get to know any of the characters and did not really care about them because of that. The intensions of this film are great but the execution is poor and the acting is not great either. I found this film to be a bit too sentimental and silly at times and I hope that the director will learn from her mistakes. Overall, I do not recommend seeing this film in the theaters because it is not worth the price of the ticket.
This is a comedy about a group of Lebanese women who try to ease religious tension in their village, the film is directed by Nadine Labaki and stars Claude Baz Moussawbaa, Leyla Hakim and Nadine Labaki. I did not like this film and I do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. I can see that the director tried to keep the film light and funny and also examine more serious topic of intolerance in the Middle East and unfortunately the balance was not achieved in this film. The film was very uneven and the mood change way too often and too abruptly. The film felt very shallow and broad and I did not like the way the story was told. Overall, i do not think it is worth your time or your money.
