What's Your Number? Movie Reviews

Anna Faris is a pretty funny actress. Unfortunately, most of the films she stars in aren't as funny as she is. Add What's Your Number to that list. It's an uneasy combo of light raunch chick flick and romantic comedy that doesn't take advantage of its stars Faris or Chris Evans.
Faris' Ally is a recently laid off single woman who reads an article that says that if a girl has slept with over 20 men, she's less likely to find a new life mate. Ally has just crossed this threshold, so she starts going back through her conquests to find that one guy she can be with. She's helped by her neighbor, a womanizing cad played by Evans. Can you guess who she'll end up with? There's also a sub plot involving Ally as bridesmaid to her sister, an unfortunate storyline just a few months after the actually funny Bridesmaids.
It's not that there aren't funny moments in this film, it's just that I've seen them before. There's nothing new or different in this movie to make it stand out from the hundreds of other films just like it. Which is sad, because it's got a talented leading lady who deserves a lot better.
Well, this is yet another romantic comedy that has no wit, no humor and very tired plot. I really love Anna Ferris and I think she is a great comedic actress but in this film she was not given a chance to shine, she deserves a better role and a better movie. The film kind of reminded me of “Bridesmaids” and it seemed lazy of the filmmakers to borrow so much from a recent film. I also did not like that the main character had no self-respect and the filmmakers made her seem way too pathetic. Overall, i do not recommend seeing this film in the theaters, it is not worth the price of the movie ticket.
This is yet another romantic comedy that is totally predictable and amazingly dull, however it has pretty good cast and they try really hard to make this film better than it is. Of course I knew what will happen in the end by watching the previews of the film but I have to say that I did like Anna Faris and Chris Evans in this film, they had good chemistry and it looked like they were having fun. I can see how this film can be a hit, there are few laughs and a lot of attractive people doing silly things and looking good, if you want mindless entertainment this will be a film for you. Overall, I have to admit that I had an alright time watching this film.
This is a romantic comedy about a girl trying to find love, the film is directed by Mark Mylod and stars Anna Faris, Chris Evans and Ari Graynor. I think Anna Faris is a great comedic actress but this film does not show off her talents enough. The film is mediocre and feels just like another rom. cothat is not ambitious or interesting. I did have few laughs throughout the film and the search through the exes was fun to watch. However, I would suggest waiting until this film comes out on DVD, because it is not worth the price of the movie ticket.
