I really loved this film and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film is made beautifully and one can see that the director has a lot of skill and finesse. The film is interesting, moving and emotionally powerful, i was truly impressed and going into this film I did not expect to even like it. I enjoyed the story and the way it was told, the acting was superb, i think that Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton should be recognized for their performances. Nick Nolte was amazing as well and I think he was casted perfectly for the role of an alcoholic father, it was a pleasure to watch him.

This is a drama about two brothers that are fighters and that face each other in the ring, the film is directed by Gavin O'Connor and stars Tom Hardy, Nick Nolte and Joel Edgerton. I thought that the actors did an amazing job with their roles, I was very impressed. I think that the film was not too overcrowded with personal stories of redemption and I really liked that. The film can be a bit corny from time to time but it can be overlooked because the story is touching and the acting is great. Overall, I think this film is great and I recommend seeing it in the theaters.

I usually do not like movies about fighting, however I thought this film was pretty gripping and I really enjoyed watching it. I thought that the story of the two brothers was very interesting and sad in the same time. I do not know much about mixed martial arts, bt after this film i can say that it is very brutal and tough to watch, it seemed that those guys are going to kill each other. There are a lot of cliches in this film and it is very corny sometimes, but i had a good time watching it. Overall, I think this film is worth seeing in the theaters.

In The Warrior, Tom Hardy plays an Iraq war vet home for the first time in many years. He has nothing going for him upon returning and decides to try his hand at some mixed martial arts tournaments. This movie had aspects of being a family drama but at the same time it was set in the very violent world of mixed martial arts. This movie has things to please all audiences. At times, the violence in this film is almost mind-numbing. I just wanted to have a few minutes of peace and at over 2 hours long, there was none. Hardy’s role is this film reminded me a lot of his role in Bronson, where he plays a devilishly intense violent man and that is all he knows. I think there’s seriously something wrong with Hardy since he plays this role so very well. Overall this movie could have been a lot better.

The Warrior was kind of like a combination of The Fighter, Rocky, and Karate Kid. It did a great job of emulating those films and the sum was definitely greater than the parts. The movie isn’t about boxing or Karate though, it is about mixed martial arts. The action was nonstop and very tight. Tom Hardy did a great job as the main actor. He truly looks like he has serious MMA skills. The film takes place in Pittsburg, and is about an Iraq war vet who comes home for the first time in a while and decides to join a few MMA tournaments. Obviously there are some things that make winning the tournament the only option for Hardy’s character but I won’t go into that because I don’t want to give too much of the movie away. The movie was a little long for my taste, especially for the genre. At over 2 hours, I wasn’t expecting to set through this long of a fighting movie. Overall the movie was just decent.

I do not like movies about fighters and their lives, it is not interesting to me and I always know how they will end. This film was alright, it went along a very predictable path and Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton were almost indistinguishable, I could not tell them apart for most of the time. Nick Nolte gave a very strong performance and it was a joy to watch him, he was able to portray so many different emotions with one look or a gesture, truly impressive. The fight scenes are very brutal and i had to cover my eyes for most of the time.

This is a film about an ex marine who comes home to train for martial arts competition with his father, the film is directed by Gavin O'Connor and stars Tom Hardy, Nick Nolte and Joel Edgerton. I usually do not like films like this, I do not enjoy watching men beat each other up, but this film was different and i liked it. Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton did a great job with their roles, even though it was hard to tell them apart sometimes. Nick Nolte gave a very powerful and convincing performance and I was very much impressed by him.

Warrior takes place in the world of mixed martial arts, which at times looks like two people just pummeling each other. But just like MMA, there's an art to the film. It's a deep, emotional movie built on great performances and a real investment in the characters.
Tom Hardy plays Tommy, an ex-Marine who moves back in with this formerly abusive, now sober dad. He's not looking to reconcile, but to train for an MMA fight with a huge prize. At the same time, his brother Brendan (Joel Edgerton), is training for the same fight, while also dealing with the financial realities of the modern world. If you've ever seen a movie before, you know what's going to happen in the final battle.
But the end isn't what matters here. The characters are so well thought out that they transcend cliches. We really care about these people, because it's not just about brawn. These are flawed men, and their strength is only part of who they are, so when the fight inevitably comes at the end, you actually care about who wins...and who doesn't. In a world where movies seems to only be about explosions and gun fights, it's nice that a film that only uses its fists and its heart can be so great.
