I don`t like this film indeed! It is cruel! I hope the essay writers will write about the truthful information
Boring and unoriginal, two words that describe this film perfectly. I hope you will read this review and stay away from this terrible film. The film is also not scary at all and I do not think that it should be called a horror film, all the “scary” moments come from things suddenly appearing on the screen, that is not scary or interesting. The film also lacked a good story and it was not original or fresh. I was expecting so much more from the master of horror and after 9 years of absence, he did not deliver at all. Overall, I do not recommend seeing this film in the theaters.
I absolutely love horror film and i pretty much see all of the horror films that are released, i know it sounds pathetic but that is my thing. Anyway, i jumped for joy when i saw that Carpenter came out with another horror flick, I could not wait to see that. However, I was greatly disappointed with this film and i do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. most of the scares in the film come from figures suddenly appearing on the screen or thunderclaps from the storm that never ends during the film. The performances were alright, couple of actors did stand out. Mamie Gummer(Maryl Streep’s daughter) and Jared Harris did a really good job with their characters and shined in the film. Overall, I do not recommend seeing this film in the theaters.
I was expecting something really good from John Carpenter, what i got was a very mediocre thriller with no emotion or context. Carpenter is still masterful with the camera work and setting the mood, but the film did not have any tension or intension. The characters in the film were very predictable and not deep, I could not relate to any of them and did not care what is going to happen to them. The ending was also very disappointing and obvious. Overall, I did not like this film and i do not recommend seeing it in the theaters.
This is a thriller directed by John Carpenter and stars Amber Heard, Mamie Gummer and Danielle Panabaker. I did not like this film and i do not recommend seeing it in the theaters. The film was not entertaining at a ll and i knew what is going to happen in the end in the first 10 minutes of the film. There were a lot of jumpy moments but absolutely no tension created throughout the film. The twist in the end was unoriginal and unimaginative. the film is shot beautifully and the hospital sets the mood for the film but it lacks in originality and purpose. I was not involved with the characters in the film, therefore I did not really care who is going to die or be tortured. It could have been a very good film, could have but was not.
