High school angst and buried sexuality runs at a fever pitch in this excellent Korean atmospheric horror entry. A young girl is haunted by the specter of her friend, who was murdered in the music room. Soon, the dead girl materializes enough to speak to her living friend, although no one else can hear her. The ghost needs someone alive to remember her or she will fade away forever. Eventually, retribution for not one but two murders involves stringing up (literally, with cello wire) the school's music teacher. The production values are quite high, with drenched-in-red cinematography. Remarkably, this is the first feature for director Ik-hwan Choe. This one is definitely worth searching out on DVD.
