Vidal Sassoon: The Movie Movie Reviews
User reviews on Vidal Sassoon: The Movie
I think the doc**entary was alright but it failed to involve me emotionally and that is what i look for in a doc**entary. I think this film can not be really called a doc**entary, it was more of a tribute to Vidal Sassoon. The movie offers very little about Vidal Sassoon’s personal life but it shows a lot about his professional achievements. I would have liked to see more of his friends or relatives talking about him and his life, but there was nothing like that and that is why I did not feel a connection. A lot of things were not explained in this film and I wish they were, like the death of his daughter Catya (we know she died from an overdose) but we do not know why she was using, or what kind of relationship Sassoon had with her, it would have made the movie so much better. Overall, i think the film was only O.K.
What a great doc**entary! I absolutely loved the film and had a blast watching it. It is a feel-goo and inspirational film that has the most charismatic and amazing subject- Vidal Sassoon. His story is truly inspiring and it also shows how smart and what a good businessman he is. Everything about this film was good, the story was great, the subject was perfect, it had a perfect amount of flashbacks and talking heads. Vidal is still charming and handsome, I could not believe he looks so good at the ripe age of 82. The film does reveal that he always was crazed about being healthy and looking goo, so i guess it explains his good looks. The doc**entary is very well made and I think it should be very successful. I myself would not mind seeing it again.
